Quack Attack! Adorable Duck Parade Steals the Show at Wedding
What was supposed to be a perfectly planned wedding for Dan and Maggie on May 24 in Washington, D.C., got upstaged by some unexpected VIP guests , those are a mother duck and her 11 ducklings! Just as the bride thought she was the final one down the aisle at Decatur House, the “little duckling parade” waddled in, sending guests into fits of laughter and a flurry of camera clicks.
According to event producer, the feathered family are regulars in the venue’s courtyard but no one thought they’d make a grand entry at the middle of ceremony. The bride and groom embraced the adorable chaos, smiling as their uninvited guests, who stole the spotlight. Funny enough, the wedding decor featured bird-themed table numbers, proving the ducks had excellent taste.
After the ceremony, vendors carefully herded the new “wedding crashers” to a safe space while guests kept giggling about the surprise. But videos of the quacky cameo went viral online, and many now calling ducks at wedding the latest sign of a happy and long-lasting marriage.
