Footage of a tech CEO apparently being caught in a compromising position with an employee on “kiss-cam” at a Coldplay gig has gone viral. The moment happened during the band’s Music Of The Spheres tour at the Gillette Stadium near Boston on 16 July. The exposing moment had the kiss-cam panning onto Andy Byron, CEO of the tech platform Astronomer, who had his arms wrapped around a woman who is reported to be Kristin Cabot, the HR chief of Astronomer.
As soon as the two saw themselves on the screens, Cabot covered her face and turned, while Byron quickly dived out of shot. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was quick to comment: “Look at these two,” before adding “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.” After the video went viral, his wife, Megan Kerrigan, who serves as an Associate Director of Lower School and Hope Graham Program Admissions at the Bancroft School, dropped her surname from her Facebook profile. The couple has two children.
Andy Byron became the CEO of Astronomer in 2023 and brought Cabot on board in November 2024. In a now-deleted LinkedIn post, he had praised her, calling it a "transformative" period for the company. Internet users reacted to the viral video by posting an array of memes, jokes and outright misinformation.
