YouTuber Khan Sir reveals why his bride covered her face at their wedding

Renowned YouTube educator and motivational figure Khan Sir recently tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony held in Patna, Bihar. Known for his engaging teaching style and massive online following, Khan Sir’s marriage became a hot topic on social media soon after the pictures from his reception surfaced. The event though was intimate and joyous, unexpectedly sparked a controversy centered around the bride’s appearance. Specifically, her decision to keep her face veiled throughout the ceremony.

Most netizens questioned his teachings on ‘equality, one’s rights and women's rights’, while connecting the same with his ‘bride covering her face in front of the public’. The matter was hardly out of the headlines when the incident again found itself in the spotlight, after Khan Sir’s recent podcast. Where he addressed the matter and revealed the ‘reason’. As per Khan Sir, it was his wife's decision as she wanted to ‘stand out’. He further claimed that he told her how he might get the blame for his wife’s decision, however, the wife allegedly called it her ‘dream’.

The teacher further quoted that “She still wanted to wear the veil. I tried changing her mind, but she did not give in.” As soon as the podcast aired on social media, netizens were quick to react to the controversy and the educator’s explanation.
