Shared in a reel on June 14, Emad posted a wedding clip in which the groom and bride are seen posing intimately for a photo near a pool. As the couple shares a kiss, the groom unexpectedly lets go of his bride, causing her to fall straight into the pool. The crowd erupts in cheers and claps as the groom celebrates what he appears to see as a playful moment. Shortly after, the bride attempts to pull the groom into the pool with her. Before she manages to do so, the groom jumps in voluntarily, as everyone laughs at the scene. While the wedding guests may have enjoyed the spectacle, it appears that netizens were far less amused by the incident. The video was also posted on TikTok, where it drew widespread backlash. Labelling the act as “disrespectful" and “concerning," social media users expressed disbelief at the groom’s behaviour.

According to many online, the groom’s reaction after pushing his bride into the water is a major red flag and reflects a lack of respect toward his partner. Several users also pointed out that the bride looked terrified as she fell, later attempting to mask her disappointment with a smile. Many even remarked that they wouldn’t have been surprised if the bride had decided to call off the wedding.
