A Delhi wedding has sparked an unusual row after an NRI bride denied food to her photography team at a five-star hotel. The dispute came to light after the bride left a one-star Google review for the photography company, We Don’t Say Cheese (WDSC), criticizing their requests during the event.
The bride, who works in the United States, wrote in her review that weddings in 2025 are expensive and vendors should focus on work, not expect to be treated as guests. She claimed the team insisted on eating at the venue, which she found “unreasonable.” She also refused to allow the photographers to take one-hour breaks to arrange their own meals outside.
Explaining her decision, the bride cited an added cost of around ₹1.5 lakh. With each plate costing more than ₹6,000 at the luxury venue, she argued it was too expensive to feed seven to eight photographers across multiple functions. The incident has since sparked a wider debate online about the treatment of wedding vendors at high-profile events.
