WeddingSutra Showcased Global Wedding Trends at OTM 2025
Mumbai: Earlier this year, WeddingSutra Engage hosted a big gathering of India’s top wedding planners at OTM 2025 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The event was held on January 31st and brought together well-known names like Damini Oberoi, Vikram Mehta, Minnat Lalpuria, Darshan Shroff, Rajat Sogani, and Ekta Saigal Lulla.
The main highlight was a panel talk called “Family in Focus”, led by Parthip Thyagarajan, CEO of WeddingSutra. The discussion was about how tourism boards from around the world want Indian families to choose their countries for destination weddings and special celebrations. The panel also talked about travel planning, guest needs like food and comfort, and how big Indian weddings are becoming even more luxurious.
Popular places like Rajasthan, Goa, and Thailand are still top choices, but new places like Qatar, Mahabalipuram, and Turkey are becoming more popular too. Families are now booking hundreds of hotel rooms for their guests, and planners are working hard to make every event unique, comfortable, and memorable.
