Lucknow: Weddingz.in, the wedding planning platform owned by OYO, has successfully met its goals set over the past two years. The company expanded to over 18 cities, including Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Goa, and Varanasi. It now has more than 35,000 venue listings and added 200 new partner venues in 2023 through tie-ups with popular hotel chains like ITC, Radisson, Lemon Tree, and Holiday Inn.
The platform also saw strong financial growth, with a 60% rise in revenue in the last quarter of 2023. Spending on wedding events increased from ₹2 lakh to ₹3.3 lakh, and bookings in Tier-2 cities like Lucknow and Nagpur more than doubled. This growth reflects the rising demand in India’s massive ₹6 trillion wedding industry.
Weddingz.in also launched its “Wz Safe” program, introducing strict hygiene standards at all its venues. With its targets met in expansion, revenue, and safety, the company is now looking to grow further in smaller cities and continue supporting couples across the country.
